From sweet tea to "bless your heart," fashion faux pas to food revelations, Girls Go South delivers candid conversations about cultural differences, college life, and finding your place in a new region. Listen as these Northern transplants share their laugh-out-loud moments, unexpected challenges, and the Southern traditions they've come to love (or still don't understand).

Kielan O'Day

Born and raised on the iconic Jersey Shore, this dynamic senior brings coastal charm to the South as she completes her Strategic Communications major with a Social Media Marketing minor. A leader in all aspects of life, she currently serves as the Director of HYPE, High Point University's student-run creative agency, where she guides teams in developing innovative marketing solutions for real-world clients. Though she will always be a Jersey girl at heart, the Southern lifestyle quickly captured her heart, so much so that post-graduation plans are at a marketing agency in Charleston.

Mia Gazzara

Mia Gazzara grew up on the Jersey Shore but took a leap heading south for college—and she’s never looked back! A strategic communications major with a passion for PR, she keeps busy as the Assistant Agency Director for HYPE, a student-run PR agency, a social media worker for the Center for Community Engagement, and a member of Point Blank, a student talk show. She also served as Social Director of Zeta Tau Alpha for two years. While she’s loved her time in the South, Mia is excited to return to her NYC roots after graduation to kick off her career.

Christina Hardy

Born and raised in a small town north of Boston, Christina Hardy brings New England charm and a strong work ethic to everything she does. Christina is currently pursuing a Marketing major with double minors in Sales and Social Media Marketing. After relocating to Sarasota, FL, she's excited to start her post-graduation journey at a marketing agency in the Sunshine State. Though she now calls Florida home, the values and roots from her small-town upbringing remain close to her heart.

Natalia Siepka

From the North Shore of Massachusetts Natalia decided to move down south for college and is happy to say she's never going back up North. With a Marketing major and dance and social media marketing minors she keeps herself busy. She also is apart of many organizations on campus, Alpha Gamma Delta, Sales club, Peer mentors, and presidential scholars. In her free time she spends time with her boyfriend and friends and loves trying new coffee shops. After graduation she plans on staying in the south making the move to Charlotte, NC to pursue a career in sales.

Darla Zisa

Born in Wayne New Jersey and grew up on the Jersey shore while having a beach house in Seaside Park. She is a dedicated Strategic Communications major with a minor in Social Media Marketing at High Point University. Darla is outgoing, passionate, straight forward and loyal in all aspects of life. After graduating from High Point University she is eager to go home to New Jersey and pursue her career in Social Media Marketing. She's eager on applying all skills learned at High Point University when returning home to her favorite state.
